Captain Ray Bowyer, a commercial airline pilot, has reported spotting a stationary UFO “twice the size of a Boeing 737″ while en route from Southampton to Alderney. Passengers on the plane and other aircraft also witnessed the phenomenon.

If you want to go treasure-hunting on a beach, you’ll need a metal detector and a shovel. If you want to look for meteorites, you’ll need a powerful magnet attached to a stick. And if your desire is to track down ghosts, you’ll need the right gear, too.

A decent digital or microcassette recorder with a wired microphone can pick up sounds that you can analyze later, when your knees stop knocking.
3. Sensing devices - A sudden drop in temperature can be a ghost indicator. An ambient thermometer is not expensive and gives you a quick and accurate reading. An electromagnetic field (EMF) meter is often used, too. But that’s an investment that can run $150+.

Taking into consideration that most people have no idea how to look for ghost sightings, besides what they read on the internet. I feel from my experiences that recreating the time and the situation has something to do with the sightings. For instance, a lighthouse up in Michigan was said to have a spirit or ghost within the lighthouse itself. It was said he was the keeper of the lighthouse who disappeared in a violent storm. In search of the truth, I visited the lighthouse during the day hours and saw nothing.

Later that night, which the storm happened at night, I ventured out to view the lighthouse from the outside. As I sat there for hours waiting for what I did not know I glanced at the light at the top of the lighthouse and did see something that appeared to look like a shadow walking around in the top lighted area. This amazed e as I was not convinced of the sighting, but now that I have seen this, I feel he only comes out at night around the same time as the storm was occurring. Therefore, I believe time has a part in the haunting whether at a building, outside area or even the lighthouse.

Many years ago in Sheboygan County, a reported hanging resulted when a young man hanged himself or did he, nobody knows for sure, but he is said to haunt the area and has scared many couples who continued to go there even after hearing the phenomenal story. It appeared the man was there with his girlfriend who disappeared that night if you park under the tree where he hanged himself or someone else did, you could hear a dragging noise on the top of your car. I decided this I needed to check out. Imagine my surprise when I did indeed hear a noise on the roof of the car.

After some thought about get out of the car, I opened the door and the noise stopped. I looked for tree branches or anything else that could have caused the noise and found nothing. This led me to the conclusion that a strong possibility exists to the truth of this paranormal behavior. Although a little shaken from this one because the reason they were targeted history states was they were young and parking in a make out point area. Therefore, my conclusion was that I did experience something I believe to be the paranormal.

There has been a report about an odd crop pattern found in a field in Chandler, Arizona in late March, but information is sketchy. With the growing season off to a vigorous start, there is no doubt that more reports and pictures will soon make the news.
 

My fascination with the paranormal has lea me to reading and searching for areas close to home. In recent years, many issues arise surrounding the Glenbeulah Cemetery. As stated a few years back on national television, the cemetery has some ghost activity. Area residents reported that after midnight you could see a man as it appears to be, walking through the cemetery. He is believed to be a man from the year 1800, because of the glowing shoes by his grave. This happens every night according to the area residents and of course, Unsolved Mysteries who researched the paranormal activity a few years back.

History has it the man hanged himself and to this day continues to haunt the cemetery, causing some residents to sell their homes and move further away. Because this happens after midnight and no specific time, I have not been able to see this haunting myself. If I ever decide to stay the night, in order to see him, I will need more than a couple of hours of sleep. I look forward to seeing this paranormal behavior in the future. I believe this may lead to other people believing in the talk about the Glenbeulah Cemetery.

UFO expert: Deathbed revelations point to Roswell coverup

BELOIT-It was a stormy night in the New Mexico desert July 3, 1947, when something unusual happened not far from Roswell.

Did an interplanetary craft crash and set off one of the most monumental cover-ups in history?

Donald R. Schmitt is convinced it did.

Schmitt, who spoke Tuesday night at Beloit College on “The Roswell Crash: What Really Happened?” is the former co-director of the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies in Chicago, and has researched the Roswell incident since 1989.

“I was a complete skeptic on the subject,” Schmitt said in an interview before his lecture on Tuesday. “I had publicly stated my doubts that the government could keep something of that magnitude a secret for that length of time.”

But after interviewing hundreds of people, he’s convinced that whatever happened in 1947 has been covered up by the military for 60 years. He said after talking to the witnesses who had handled debris from the crash site that he concluded “maybe we should reconsider and treat this as though it might possibly be true.”

Schmitt told a packed Richardson Auditorium on Tuesday night that the government has come up with four stories about what was recovered in 1947. First, an official news release announced they had recovered a “flying disk.” This was quickly refuted by Pentagon officials who said it was only a weather balloon and a bombing target. Two other explanations have been officially offered, the latest in 1997.

“I have it on good information they’re now working on a fifth explanation,” Schmitt said.

Only one of these explanations, Schmitt said, can be confirmed by the witnesses he’s interviewed during his studies.

“The question is, which explanation are the witnesses confirming is the truth?” he said. “The government is asking us to believe the most elite Air Force unit in the country, the 509th Bomb Group based at the Roswell Army Air Field, did not know the difference between some neoprene rubber, some wooden sticks, and something truly extraordinary.”

Schmitt said that on their deathbeds some witnesses finally revealed that what they saw “wasn’t a balloon-it wasn’t from here.”

“Many of those witnesses were threatened, intimidated, paid off and made to take security oaths they would never reveal what they had seen,” he said. “It’s only been as they’ve neared the end of their lives that some of them have revealed the truth to other family members or to us. They’re saying, ‘It was a cover-up; the balloon was a hoax.’”

Why would the government want to cover up such an event?

“I think it was a cover-up of their ignorance,” said Schmitt. “They had no idea who it was, where they were from, or what had crashed. So rather than admit their ignorance, it was easier to sweep it under the rug.”

Schmitt said he wasn’t trying to convince anyone or prove anything. He simply invited people to come to their own conclusions.
