ONTARIO - When Sharon Coyle, a paranormal investigator, learned about the financial situation filmmaker Bill Murphy and his fiancee Anita McMillan were in, she wanted to do something to help out.
Murphy, who has done several documentaries about paranormal activity, was recently laid off. The news comes just after his fiancee was also laid off and then seriously injured when she fell down a flight of stairs, Coyle said.
Now the couple, who live in Los Angeles, are at risk of losing their home.
Coyle said she approached director Heather Woodward, who was going to screen her latest movie, “Dead House,” in which Murphy is featured, for help.
