2012: A look at life and prophecy.

Armageddon. Apocolypse. Doomsday. Whatever term is used, it signifies the
end of planet Earth, or at least the end of life as we know it.

The year 2012 has been holding the proverbial trophy for the “end” prediction for several years now, thanks to the Mayans, a culture that once thrived in Mesoamerica (Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador) from 2000 B.C. to approximately 250 A.D.

The Mayan culture was richly involved in astronomy, math, art, and architecture, and as a result, many interesting, historical items have been discovered in the region at which they once lived.

One such item was the Mayan calendar, which some people believe predicts the end of the world after an era of 5126 years. Specifically, it was believed that the date of December 21, 2012 at 11:11 P.M., universal time, is the official doomsday due to an upcoming astronomical event.

The winter solstace of December 21, 2012 is believed to mark the alignment of the sun with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which has not occurred for 26,000 years.

One Mayan man, however, does not believe that this alignment will cause mass chaos and deathly destruction. According to Apolinario Chile Pixtun of Mexico city, doomsday is simply a Western fantasy and not something the Mayans have actually predicted. He admits that it does signify the end of a major time period for the Mayans, but they have never implied the end of the planet Earth.

Will “the end” actually happen, or have humans created yet another Year 2000 epidemic of panic? The verdict is still out.

If vampires aren’t enough to satisfy your paranormal appetite, try Mothman on for size.

In Stow, Ohio on the night of September 14, an anonymous witness claimed to have spotted a 10 foot tall, dark entity under a bridge. The creature had no noticeable face and disappeared without a trace as the witness drove off. A picture was drawn of the creature and people believe it to resemble the 1966 Mothman of Point Pleasant , WV.

No other sightings were reported that night.

Paranormal View.

There are a lot of views on the parnormal.  You have your straight up non believers, the skeptics, the believers who take it from a scientific point of view, and those who think every bump, every dust partical and every noise is paranormal. So which one is correct, and which one is wrong?  All of them and none of them.  For the paramormal hunting, or ghosthunters if you must, to do what they do best, they have to encounter ALL of the above. To make the best group we believe that you need to look at everything from ALL points of view.  We (just as most paranormal groups) take things from a scientific point of view.  Hence the reason we use the equipment that we do.  Such as the voice recorders, the DVR systems, the EMF detectors, video cameras, digital cameras, K2 meter, and anything else that we feel would help.  We also us a strobe light to see if we can catch shadow figures.  With the things like this some skeptics have almost changed their minds and turned into believers, or they at least look at things from a differnt point of view.  Non believers tend to “debunk” everything, even when they can’t explain it.

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN - A group of paranormal researchers is wrapping up an investigation at a house in Cressona, and the group’s members are hoping to continue searching for evidence of ghosts at area sites.

“Each of us have had some type of encounter which led us to do research and develop our skills over time so that we believe we can help someone get to the bottom of what is causing the experience,” said Lena Kimmel, co-founder of the Pennsylvania Paranormal Research Team, based in Schuylkill Haven.

The group has been together about a year and is looking to investigate any paranormal activity someone may be experiencing. The group came across such activity at the Cressona home.

“There is definitely something here,” Kimmel said. “We saw a full-body apparition in the window. We heard the voice of a 60-to-70-year-old man and my daughter, who is a medium, picked up a young girl over there in the corner who was looking for her mother.”

16 Signs your house may be haunted

You hear heavy footsteps in the upstairs hallway when you know no one is up there. Doors slam unaccountably. Commonly used items disappear and reappear without cause. The kitchen light turns on by itself. There’s the unmistakable scent of a strange perfume in the air. These may be indications that your house is haunted. True haunting are rare occurrences, and it may be difficult to determine whether or not any strange phenomena you are experiencing in your home might be due to a haunting. For one thing, no one really knows what a “real” haunting is - what causes it or why it starts. There are many theories, of course, which we have discussed in this space in the article “Ghosts: What Are They?” But if you think your house may really be haunted, what can you do about it?

Demonology FAQ’s

Q: Are Ouija boards really dangerous?
A: It is not the Ouija board itself which is dangerous. The potential danger stems from the fact that by using a Ouija board to communicate with spirits (or any similar divination device), an individual is opening up his or her free will, thereby leaving oneself vulnerable to an invading spirit presence. There are a great many examples of individuals successfully contacting what at first appear to be “nice” spirits through the use of o Ouija board…only to have these spirits turn on them once they have gained a foothold. Demons can be very adept at masquerading as departed loved ones, even going so far as to reveal hidden knowledge, which was supposedly known only to the deceased…and this hidden information will often eventually prove to be verifiable. However, once demonic spirits have gained someone’s trust, they will then cleverly begin mixing lies with the truth, in an effort to confuse. Some individuals eventually become emotionally dependant upon these “spirit friends”…and a demonic presence will have no reservations about using a person’s loneliness or emotional vulnerabilities to gain a stronger foothold. By the time it is too late, and a hostile entity has revealed it’s true colors, the person who has unwittingly been communicating with these types of spirits will often find that they are much harder to get rid of, than they were to bring in. Also, under no circumstances should anyone ask a spirit to manifest itself (appear) to them through the use of a Ouija board…since a demonic spirit will consider this an open invitation to infiltrate that person’s life!

Q: How true to life are the events portrayed in “The Exorcist”?
A: “The Exorcist”, written by William Peter Blattey, is based upon an actual case of demonic possession, and the subsequent exorcism, of a fourteen-year-old boy, which took place in the U.S. in 1949. Some of the events are documented as having actually occurred, such as writing appearing on the boy’s flesh, and his ability (while under possession) of speaking in foreign languages. In the actual case, the exorcism eventually proved successful, and the boy went on to live a normal, healthy life. None of the priests involved actually died as the result of the exorcism, or became possessed themselves, although one priest did suffer a broken nose. Some of the more bizarre phenomena portrayed in both the book and the movie never actually happened, such as the head spinning and the “spider walk”. Some of the events portrayed in “The Exorcist”, however, when taken in context, are actually supposed to be telepathically projected into the minds of certain characters.
One thing I should mention about “The Exorcist” which happens to be very true to life, is that these types of parasitic, hostile entities are often initially and inadvertently “invited” in to begin oppressing certain individuals, through the use of a Ouija board.

UFOs & Their Ancient Encounters with Humans

UFOs & Their Ancient Encounters with Humans

UFOlogy is not just a science which is starting from the 19th Century. It really starts from the first blinks of human civilization. Maybe it is all interconnected. It is possible that a foreign and distant imprint has transformed our specie from the primitiveness of the Homo Erectus and Neanderthal, to the intelligent Homo Sapiens. Maybe, aliens and extraterrestrials represent the “missing link” of the 19th Century scientist Charles Darwin, from apes to the current modern human.

The first recorded encounters of humanity with the non-terrestrial life started in the present Iraq, in approximately the 6th millennium B.C. Here there was found pottery depicting a male and female with unusual bind heads. In addition, other figures with lizard heads were discovered at Eridu.

Nepal is also a place where there have been discovered plates that were showing disk-shaped objects which were hovering around some kind of figurine, like an alien. The most impressive one is the Lolladoff plate, which was dated as being more than 9000 years old. Another interesting thing regarding this plate is that all the figures are following some kind of specific pattern, which resembles the Golden Ration (The Sacred Geometry of Creation).

Furthermore, in a cave in Italy has been found some wall paintings showing two figures in something that resembles with protective suits, like in the case of the today’s astronauts. This confirms the theory that some millennia ago there have existed paleoastronauts, traveling to and from our planet.

The Native Americans were also having their entire culture based on the existence of flying objects and aliens. Their belief was that life existed in the universe, and they needed to be in a connection with the extraterrestrial life, in order to be connected with the universe itself.

All these were just some of the examples that can be given in order to prove the theories regarding far and distant life. Ancient Civilizations, such as the Mayan, Chinese, Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Celtic were based on the relation and communication between them and the rest of the Universe.

It will be advisable to learn and adopt from the Ancient Civilizations their openness regarding the outer space and it’s unknown.
